Which retailers actually hold the vintage resale inventory?

Disclosure before the numbers: LinkToLooks has earned $0 in affiliate commission to date and no network has approved us. Nothing below comes from a payout report, because there is not one. It is all measured from public advertiser feeds.

Across 4,371 live US affiliate listings in nostalgia, stationery and holiday categories, pulled 31 August 2026, Poshmark alone held 59% of all inventory and 76% of everything described as vintage, antique or retro.

That is the whole answer to which affiliate program a vintage or stationery creator should chase first. 38% of listings across all 71 advertisers were used stock, and the used stock is concentrated in one place.

Last verified 31 August 2026, against 4371 listings across 71 advertisers in the CJ product feed. Prices move; read them as the market on that date, not a promise. Marketplace asks of $500 or more are excluded as seller placeholders; retailer prices are used as published.

Now filter to vintage only

Of the 712 listings whose own titles said vintage, antique, retro, 80s or 90s, the concentration gets more extreme, not less:

What a creator should take from this

Every “best affiliate programs for X creators” article gives you a list of programs sorted by commission rate. That is the wrong sort order. What decides your income is how much of what you actually want to link to is coverable at all, and in these categories that question has a lopsided answer.

The honest limits of this measurement

This is one network’s US feeds, on one day, in these categories. It does not see eBay, Etsy, Mercari or Depop, none of which expose inventory through this feed — and in vintage those are large. So read the table as ‘of the inventory an affiliate network can actually show a publisher, here is where it sits’, which is the practical question, not as a census of the second-hand market. We would rather draw that line than let a percentage imply more than it measured.

Questions

Which affiliate program is best for a vintage or nostalgia creator?

Whichever one holds the inventory you link to. In this pull of 4,371 listings, one marketplace held 59% of everything and 76% of the vintage-described stock — so for these categories the first application is not a close call.

Do brand affiliate programs work for vintage content?

Poorly, on their own. Brands do not restock discontinued product, so the inventory accumulates with individual sellers instead.

How much has LinkToLooks earned from affiliate links?

$0. No network has approved us, so no link on this site has ever paid a commission. When that changes we will publish the number.
