LinkToLooks is the linking desk for creators and influencers. We are building AI that finds the products in your own photos and Reels and labels every link honestly: exact, variant or similar. Our guides explain how links, disclosure and payouts work on each platform, with the date we checked. We work for the creator.
No creator storefront is public yet. We build one only when a creator asks, and publish it only with their written OK.
How it works
- Detection. We look only at posts from a creator who asked us to. Every photo and video frame is scanned. Items are graded honestly: products we can identify exactly, products where only a close equivalent exists, and things that aren’t products at all — which we discard rather than force.
- Matching. Each detected product is described in words and searched for by text, through the Brave Search API, to find retailers selling it. Prices come from the retailers themselves.
- Checking. A separate automated pass (Claude) compares each candidate listing with the creator’s photo and drops what does not match. No person checks our links or our pages, and we do not say one does.
What we refuse to do
An empty slot beats a wrong link. When no candidate survives the check, the storefront says “no confident match” instead of guessing. Wrong links are how creators lose their audience’s trust, so we publish our gaps.
Exact means exact. Items with a legible brand link to that product. Generic items are labelled Similar — the closest match on sale, never passed off as the thing itself.
Consent, and the delete promise
Nothing built from a creator’s posts is published without their written OK. Any creator can have their data deleted with one message — completed within 7 days of the request, no questions. We never post, comment or message from a creator’s account.
Who writes the guides
Guides carry one of two bylines. The LinkToLooks Creator Desk covers links, disclosure and payouts on each platform, for creators and influencers: guides for creators. The LinkToLooks Reference Desk keeps our collector, nostalgia and reference pages: the Reference Desk listing. The desks are how the work is organised, not people. Every guide is drafted with AI (Claude); a guide re-checked by a separate automated pass says so, with the date, and a guide that has not been re-checked says that too. How we work has the rest.
Affiliate disclosure
LinkToLooks holds no affiliate approvals today, so no link on this site pays us. A creator’s storefront carries the creator’s own affiliate links: if you buy through one, any commission is paid by the network to the creator, at no extra cost to you, and LinkToLooks takes no share of it. We link to products because they appear in a creator’s content — never because of who pays.
