LinkToLooks · Last updated 13 October 2026

Who we are. LinkToLooks (linktolooks.com) is the linking desk for creators and influencers. We publish guides on how product links, disclosure and payouts work on each platform, and we are building AI that finds the products in a creator’s own photos. For anything on this page, email privacy@linktolooks.com.

The short version

What we hold, and why

If you send the storefront request form

The form on our creators page stores:

The form itself stores no IP address and nothing about your browser or device, and it sets no cookie. We use what you sent to look at the public profile you named and to contact you about the storefront you asked for; the page field tells us which of our pages lead people to ask. Entries are stored with Cloudflare, and may be copied into our internal notes while we deal with them.

If you ask us to build a storefront

No storefront is being built today. When we build one, we look only at the public posts on the profile you named; we have no access to your account. To identify the products in your photos and Reels we send images from those posts to Anthropic’s Claude API. To find retailers selling them we search by text through the Brave Search API, which receives a short written description of each product (such as its brand, type and colour), never your images. We keep the images we worked from, the crops, the products identified and the retailer links we propose, so that we can build the storefront and send you a private link to review it. You decide every item, and nothing is published until you approve it in writing.

If you email us

We receive your email address, your message and anything you attach, and use them to answer you and to act on what you ask. Mail to privacy@linktolooks.com is forwarded by Cloudflare Email Routing to the mailbox we read it in.

If you are a creator we may ask

We may message creators on Instagram to ask whether they would like a storefront. Every such message is sent by hand; none is sent by automation. To do this we keep a list of public creator profiles: the handle and profile link, what is public about the account (such as its follower count and what it posts about), and our notes on whether its posts suit a storefront. Anyone on the list can ask to be taken off it.

Material from before 29 September 2026

Before 29 September 2026 we copied public posts from some creator accounts, without being asked, to build storefront previews and demonstrations. We stopped doing that on that date, and no storefront built that way is published on linktolooks.com. To build them, images were sent to Anthropic’s Claude API and product crops to SerpApi and Bright Data, which ran image searches on Google Lens; some crops were also sent to Google Cloud Vision in a trial. We still hold those copies and what we derived from them: the products identified and the retailer links proposed. If you think this includes your posts, email privacy@linktolooks.com and it is deleted within 7 days of your request.

If you visited before 11 October 2026: Google Analytics

Until 11 October 2026 our public pages loaded Google Analytics (GA4). We removed it that day, and no page of this site loads it now. While it ran, Google collected the pages viewed, the page or site that sent the visitor, device type, browser, screen size and language, and an approximate location that Google derives from the IP address. Its enhanced measurement was on, so it also recorded scrolling, clicks on links that leave our site, site searches, video engagement, file downloads and form interactions (that a form was started or sent, not what was typed into it).

It set the cookies _ga and _ga_M4EFC79RXF, which hold a random identifier and last up to two years unless you clear them, so a browser that visited before 11 October may still hold them; clearing them in your browser removes them. We never sent Google Analytics a name or email address, and what you type into our form was never sent to it.

Google provides Google Analytics and processes the data it collected under its own terms: see how Google uses information from sites that use its services and Google’s Privacy Policy. You can stop it with Google’s opt-out browser add-on if you want to block it on other sites too.

If you click a product link

Some product links on our pages pass through a short redirect on our own domain (linktolooks.com/go/…) on the way to the retailer. For each click we record which link it was, the date and time, whether the visit came from Instagram, a search engine, directly or from elsewhere, and a flag if the browser describes itself as a bot. We record no IP address, set no cookie and store no browser details, and these records are deleted automatically after 180 days. LinkToLooks holds no affiliate approvals, so no link on this site pays us, and we add nothing about you to the link. Once you reach the retailer, its own privacy policy applies.

On every visit: hosting and fonts

Cloudflare hosts this site. Like any web host, it processes your IP address and the details of each request to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse, under Cloudflare’s privacy policy. Our pages also load typefaces from Google Fonts, so your browser requests them from Google’s servers, which receive your IP address as part of that request (see Google Fonts’ privacy notes). Some guides show product photos that load straight from the retailer’s own image servers, so that retailer (or its image host) also receives your IP address when the photo loads; we send it nothing else about you. The form entries and click records we store contain no IP address.

Cloudflare also counts page loads for us with Cloudflare Web Analytics. A small script from static.cloudflareinsights.com reports the page you loaded, the page that linked you to it, your browser type and how long the page took to load. It sets no cookie and stores nothing on your device (see Cloudflare Web Analytics). We see only totals, never a record about one visitor.

Who else handles data for us

Cloudflare, Google, Anthropic, Brave and SerpApi are based in the United States and Bright Data in Israel; each may process data in those and other countries.

What we do not do

How long we keep it

Your rights, and deletion

You can ask us what we hold about you, for a copy of it, to correct it, to delete it, or to stop using it. Email privacy@linktolooks.com from any address and say what you want; one line is enough, and there is no account to log in to. Deletion is completed within 7 days of your request — see data deletion for what it covers. If you think we have handled your data wrongly, you can also complain to the data-protection authority where you live.

If a page names you or uses your work

If a page on this site names you or uses your work and you want it corrected or removed, email privacy@linktolooks.com with the page address. Removal requests are acted on within 7 days.

Children

This site is for creators and influencers and is not aimed at children. If you believe a child has sent us their details, email us and they are deleted within 7 days of your request.

Changes

When this policy changes we update this page and the date at the top.
