Creator terms
These terms apply when a creator asks LinkToLooks to build a storefront. We build one only when you ask, nothing goes live until you approve it in writing, the links on it are your own, and we take no cut.
LinkToLooks (linktolooks.com) is the linking desk for creators and influencers, operated by the LinkToLooks team. For anything on this page, email privacy@linktolooks.com.
1. What we do for you
- Built only when you ask. We build a storefront from your posts only when you ask for one, through the form on our creators page or by email.
- You approve it first. You review every product, and you can remove any item before your storefront goes live. Nothing is published until you approve it in writing.
- Every link is labelled. Items we can identify exactly are marked exact; close equivalents are labelled variant or similar. Where we cannot confirm a match, the item gets no link and the storefront says so, instead of guessing.
- New posts when you ask. Products from new posts are added when you ask us to add them.
2. Your links, your earnings
- Your own links. Your storefront carries your own affiliate links, from the programmes you already use.
- Paid to you directly. Any commission is paid by the network straight to you, under that programme’s own terms and payout thresholds. No payment passes through LinkToLooks.
- No cost, no cut. A storefront costs you nothing. LinkToLooks takes no share of what it earns and never handles your earnings.
- No earnings projections. We do not quote earnings or projections. What your storefront earns shows in your own affiliate accounts.
- Our own links. LinkToLooks holds no affiliate approvals, so no link on this site pays us. Our affiliate disclosure explains how links work here.
3. Your content stays yours
- Your posts and photos remain yours.
- We use them to build the storefront you asked for and to add your new posts to it when you ask. Our privacy policy covers how we handle personal data.
- Nothing built from your posts is published without your written OK.
- We keep the copies we work from until you ask us to delete them (section 5).
- We never post, comment or message from your account. No Instagram account is connected to LinkToLooks, so we have no access to yours.
4. Search engines
- You choose whether search engines can list your storefront. It can be open to search, so people looking for the things you post can find it, or link-only: visible to anyone who has its address, and kept out of search.
- We change that choice whenever you ask.
5. Leaving, and deletion
- Withdraw at any time. You can withdraw your consent at any time, for one item or for the whole storefront. You do not need to give a reason.
- How to ask. Email privacy@linktolooks.com from any address and say what you want removed; one line is enough.
- Within 7 days. A storefront you withdraw is deleted within 7 days of your request, and a request to remove a single item is acted on within the same 7 days. Deletion covers the storefront, the copies of your images, the product crops, the products identified and the retailer links proposed.
- Confirmation. Ask, and we will tell you what was removed and when.
- It cannot be undone. If you want a storefront again later, it is built again from your posts, and only if you ask.
Our data deletion page sets out everything a deletion covers, and what a request to us cannot reach.
6. How we contact you
Nothing automated ever contacts you. Any message from LinkToLooks is sent by hand. When creator sign-in is switched on, the one exception will be a sign-in link that you ask for yourself.
7. Changes to these terms
When these terms change, we update this page and the date at the top. If you do not agree with a change, you can withdraw at any time, as section 5 describes.
