LTK, ShopMy or Mavely: what each one actually publishes
The most useful thing to say about these three platforms is the thing the comparison posts leave out: none of them publishes its commission rates or payout terms on its public site. Every rate table you have read was assembled from creators' recollections, and rates change.

What each platform actually is
| LTK | ShopMy | Mavely | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Owner | LTK (formerly rewardStyle / LIKEtoKNOW.it) | ShopMy, independent | Later, which acquired Mavely in January 2025 for $250 million |
| Scale, as the company states it | Not published on the public creator page | Over 175,000 creators and commissions from over 50,000 brands | More than 120,000 creators, over $1 billion in gross merchandise value across over 1,400 brands |
| Funding | Not stated on the creator page | $77.5 million Series B, January 2025, led by Bessemer Venture Partners and Bain Capital Ventures | Acquired, so not applicable |
| How you join | Application. LTK states it looks for a public social profile, a high number of engaged followers, and content posted regularly - it says its ideal applicant posts daily | Application | Application |
| Commission rates published publicly? | No | No | No |
| Payout terms published publicly? | No | No | No |
Read the last two rows again. That is not an oversight in our research; it is how the category works. Terms sit behind an application and a login, they vary by creator and by brand, and they are renegotiated. Anyone publishing a definitive rate comparison is publishing a snapshot of somebody else's account.
The structural difference that does matter
These three are not competing on rate. They are competing on who owns the brand relationship, and that shapes everything a creator experiences.
- LTK is the oldest and most gated of the three. Its public creator page states the bar plainly: a public profile, a high number of engaged followers, and regular posting, with an ideal applicant who posts daily. That gate is the product — brands pay for a curated pool.
- ShopMy has scaled hard and recently: a $77.5 million Series B in January 2025, over 175,000 creators, commissions from over 50,000 brands, and a stated positioning around premium and beauty brands.
- Mavely is now part of Later, a social-media management and influencer-marketing company that bought it for $250 million in January 2025. That makes Mavely the one of the three sitting inside a broader marketing stack rather than standing alone.

The questions worth asking instead of "which pays more"
- Does it carry the retailers you already talk about? A higher rate on a brand your audience does not buy is worth nothing. This is the single biggest determinant of a creator's earnings and it is almost never in the comparison posts.
- What happens to your links if you leave? Links published inside a platform's own domain stop working when the account does. Links pointing at a retailer survive.
- How long is the attribution window on the brands you use? This is set by the advertiser, not the platform, and it is the mechanic that decides whether a click you generated actually pays. We wrote a separate page on it.
- Is there an exclusivity clause? Some programmes restrict running competing platforms in the same post. Read the agreement you sign rather than a summary of it.
Our honest recommendation
Do not choose on published terms, because there are none. Choose on retailer coverage first, and apply to more than one — there is no structural reason a creator cannot run two, and the answer to "which pays more" is knowable only from your own dashboard against your own audience. Anyone who tells you the answer in the abstract is guessing, including us.
Last verified 1 September 2026 against each company's public materials and named press reporting. LTK's stated creator criteria come from its own public creator page. ShopMy's creator and brand counts and its January 2025 $77.5 million Series B come from its funding announcement. Mavely's creator count, GMV and brand count and Later's $250 million January 2025 acquisition come from the acquisition announcement.
Some links here are affiliate links. LinkToLooks has earned $0 from them to date — no network has approved us yet — so nothing on this page is picked to hit a payout.
