What is the bag shaped like a VHS tape?

Two columns for the three-piece A Goofy Movie line: the mini backpack and crossbody copy the VHS sleeve, with printed sleeve art and spine text, and the wallet copies the cassette, with a black shell, two spool windows and a label panel. — The A Goofy Movie line splits in two: the mini backpack and crossbody copy the printed sleeve, and only the wallet, with its black shell and two spool windows, copies the tape itself.Illustration: LinkToLooks

It is a Loungefly figural bag. The three-piece A Goofy Movie line copies a 1995 Disney VHS clamshell sleeve: a mini backpack, a crossbody and a wallet, sold through BoxLunch and Hot Topic. The wallet is the one shaped like the cassette itself, with the two spool windows and the label panel.

The line, priced

Piece	Retailer	Price on 17 Sep 2026
Mini Backpack - BoxLunch Exclusive	BoxLunch	$89.90
Crossbody Bag - BoxLunch Exclusive	BoxLunch	$69.90
Wallet - BoxLunch Exclusive	BoxLunch	$39.90

Which one you want depends on which object you actually miss. The backpack and crossbody are the rental-shop shelf: printed sleeve art, spine text, the shape you slid off a rack. The wallet is the tape. It is the only piece of the three that reads as a VHS from across a room, because the black shell and the two windows are the part of the format everyone can draw from memory.

Not the only VHS-shaped thing on the market

The VHS silhouette has become a general nostalgia shape rather than a Disney one. Alongside the bags, this feed pull carries VHS-print bucket hats, VHS-cassette enamel pins, Funko figures boxed in replica VHS sleeves and a VHS-shaped throw pillow. None of them plays anything.

Only 5 Loungefly listings appeared in the 1 September 2026 pull, so this page shows a line rather than a market. There is no median here and no resale trend, and we are not going to compute one from five rows.

Last verified 17 September 2026: the three BoxLunch pieces were looked up by product ID in the CJ product feed and all three were in stock at the prices shown, with no sale price published. Those prices are unchanged from 1 September. Price figures are computed from a CJ Affiliate product-feed pull of US advertisers made on 1 September 2026. Peer-to-peer marketplace asks of $500 or more are excluded as seller placeholders, as are repdigit asks such as $999 and $9,999 wherever they appear; retailer prices are used as published. Counts are deduplicated row counts, never a feed totalCount.
