Affiliate programs for jewellery and watch creators
In this category the advertiser you pick matters more than the rate you negotiate, because the median order value swings from $14 to $1,797 across programs selling the same kind of object.
Some links here are affiliate links — if you buy, the retailer may pay us a commission at no extra cost to you. We have earned $0 from them so far. Here’s how it works.
Part of: For creators
Pick the advertiser before you worry about the rate. Across 1,611 US jewellery and watch listings pulled on 2 September 2026, the median price ran from $14.00 at JCPenney to $1,797.50 at Jared — a 128x spread between two programs that both sell jewellery.
A percentage applied to a $28 pair of earrings and the same percentage applied to a $1,797 watch are not the same business. Everything below is about which of those businesses you are actually in.
The 65 advertisers, and where the depth is
We queried the CJ product catalogue on 2 September 2026 for signet ring, gold chain necklace, hoop earrings, automatic watch and mens watch, filtered to advertisers registered in the United States. That returned 1,611 priced listings across 65 advertisers — more than twice the advertiser count we found for sneakers and streetwear on the same day.
| Retailer (CJ advertiser) | Listings | Median price | Range |
|---|---|---|---|
| Boscov's Department Stores | 223 | $375.00 | $5.99 – $6,999.98 |
| Jared The Galleria of Jewelry | 210 | $1,797.50 | $115.00 – $7,400.00 |
| UnbeatableSale.com | 174 | $171.42 | $14.30 – $2,366.00 |
| Macy's | 130 | $70.00 | $24.50 – $10,700.00 |
| Madewell (US) | 108 | $28.00 | $16.99 – $200.00 |
| Woot! | 88 | $166.32 | $9.99 – $799.99 |
| Kay Jewelers | 86 | $695.00 | $99.99 – $2,400.00 |
| Sami Jewels | 46 | $46.50 | $4.00 – $56.00 |
| Belk | 38 | $212.50 | $14.40 – $795.00 |
| Wayfair North America | 26 | $87.99 | $23.99 – $4,199.99 |
| JCPenney | 25 | $14.00 | $12.00 – $217.20 |
| Ross-Simons | 17 | $1,039.00 | $139.00 – $2,995.00 |
1,611 US listings across 65 advertisers, pulled from CJ product feeds on 2 September 2026 with the queries signet ring, gold chain necklace, hoop earrings, automatic watch and mens watch. CJ's demo advertiser excluded.
The useful read here is not the ranking. It is the range column. Boscov's spans $5.99 to $6,999.98 inside a single program; Macy's spans $24.50 to $10,700. A creator linking either one is not linking a price point, they are linking a whole department store, and which corner of it they send readers to is entirely their own decision.
Five categories, five different businesses
| Category | Listings | Median | Quartiles | Carrying a sale price |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Hoop earrings | 324 | $38.00 | $24.00 – $51.00 | 62% |
| Signet rings | 127 | $51.00 | $36.00 – $159.00 | 46% |
| Gold chain necklaces | 405 | $135.00 | $52.50 – $1,375.00 | 56% |
| Men's watches | 422 | $149.35 | $70.25 – $315.00 | 66% |
| Automatic watches | 374 | $1,073.75 | $575.00 – $2,450.00 | 22% |
Same pull, 2 September 2026. 'Carrying a sale price' means the feed supplied a sale price below the row's own list price; it is not evidence the list price was ever charged.

Hoops and small silver — the frequency business
- 324 listings, $38.00 median, three-quarters under $51.
- Cheap enough to be an impulse buy, which is why this band converts.
- At any plausible rate you are earning single-digit dollars an order, so this only works on volume.
Gold chains — the widest spread we measured
- 405 listings, $135.00 median, but quartiles of $52.50 and $1,375.00.
- The same three-word search returns a $55 plated chain and a $2,499 solid-gold one. Whichever you link becomes your effective rate.
- 56% of these listings already carried a sale price, at a median cut of 60% — the deepest discounting in the pull, and a reason to check whether a program pays on sale items at all.
Watches — big orders, long tails

- Automatic watches: 374 listings, $1,073.75 median, quartiles $575 and $2,450.
- Men's watches generally: 422 listings, $149.35 median. The word 'automatic' is doing all the work in that gap.
- High-value orders are also the most returnable. One reversal at $1,000 undoes a great many $38 earring orders, and reversals land weeks after the commission appeared.

A gap you can turn into content
Here is something we found by accident and think is worth a creator's time. Across the 815 gold jewellery listings in this pull, we checked how many titles state what the metal actually is:
- 210 of 815 (25.8%) state a karat — 10k, 14k, 18k, 22k or 24k.
- 86 (10.6%) use a plating or fill word: plated, filled, vermeil, gold-tone.
- 23 (2.8%) say sterling.
- Which leaves roughly two-thirds of listings describing something as 'gold' without saying what kind of gold it is in the part of the listing a shopper reads first.
That is the question your audience will ask under the post, and most product pages answer it three scrolls down or not at all. A creator who states the metal in the caption is doing work the retailer did not, and it is the cheapest trust you will ever buy.
How to pick, in order
- Decide your band first. Under $60, $60–$300, or above $300. These behave like different jobs and mixing them dilutes both.
- Then find the advertisers with depth in that band. For under $60 that meant Madewell, Sami Jewels and JCPenney in our pull; for the middle, Macy's, Belk and UnbeatableSale; for the top, Jared, Kay and Ross-Simons.
- Then read the rate table on the advertiser's own program page. We hold no network approvals and have earned $0, so we cannot see any of these rates and will not invent them. Jewellery rates are commonly split by category and frequently exclude sale items — which matters enormously in a category where more than half the listings are on sale.
- Then check the return window. Ask what the reversal rate looks like, not just the commission. Fine jewellery and watches are returned at rates that make a headline percentage misleading.
Our editorial read: a small or growing account is better served by the $38 band than by the $1,797 one, even though the second looks more impressive. Cheap jewellery converts from a photo. A $2,000 watch converts from a relationship, and usually not on the first visit.
What this does not tell you
- No rates. We hold no approvals and print no commission figures.
- Prices are list prices from the feed, not transacted prices. A listing marked down 60% is evidence about the listing, not about what anyone paid.
- Keyword matching is loose. We filtered out lamps, curtain hardware and craft chain returned under jewellery queries, but some noise survives any sample built this way.
- The US filter leaks. Madewell Australia, Macy's Canada and Macy's AU appeared under a United States advertiser filter. Check the destination domain, not the country field.
- One day only. 2 September 2026, and nothing beyond it.
Frequently asked
Which jewellery affiliate programs have the most inventory?
In our 2 September 2026 pull of 1,611 US listings, Boscov's returned the most rows (223), then Jared (210), UnbeatableSale.com (174) and Macy's (130). Sixty-five advertisers carried at least one matching listing.
What is the average price of a jewellery listing?
It depends entirely on the category. Hoop earrings ran a $38.00 median across 324 listings; automatic watches ran $1,073.75 across 374. Median price by advertiser ranged from $14.00 to $1,797.50.
Do jewellery affiliate programs pay on sale items?
Often not, and it varies by advertiser. We cannot quote specific terms because we hold no approvals. It matters more here than elsewhere: 56% of gold chain listings and 66% of men's watch listings already carried a sale price.
Should a small account link cheap or expensive jewellery?
Our read is cheap. A $38 pair of earrings converts from a single photograph; a $2,000 watch usually does not convert on a first visit, and high-value orders carry the highest return rates.
Method and scope
- Source: CJ product feeds, queried live on 2 September 2026, advertiser country set to the United States.
- Queries: signet ring, gold chain necklace, hoop earrings, automatic watch, mens watch. Rows with no usable price, and rows from CJ's demo advertiser, were dropped; lamps, curtain hardware and craft chain were filtered out of the jewellery queries by title.
- 1,611 listings across 65 advertisers after filtering. Medians and quartiles are of feed list price.
- The metal-disclosure count covers the 815 gold-jewellery rows (chains, hoops, signet rings) and searches the listing title only. A listing may state the metal further down its product page.
- We hold no affiliate network approvals and have earned $0 in commission. No commission rate is asserted anywhere on this page.

How this guide was made. We research and draft these guides with AI, then a person checks every price, link and factual claim against the source before it publishes. We work this way because it lets us re-verify prices across hundreds of guides in a day, which is what keeps the numbers here current; it does not decide what we recommend. Anything we could not verify is labelled as unverified rather than filled in.
