Black Friday 2026 is Friday 27 November and Cyber Monday is Monday 30 November. For a gift to arrive before Christmas, the USPS recommended last days to ship within the lower 48 states are 17 December for Ground Advantage, 18 December for Priority Mail and 19 December for Priority Mail Express; FedEx's last days run from 15 to 24 December depending on the service, and UPS had not published its 2026 last days to ship in the latest reports we could find on 7 October 2026.

A carrier date is not a promise about any one link. It is the day a package has to be accepted for that service to deliver before 25 December, and the retailer you link to decides when it hands the order over. Carrier dates are the recommended last days to ship for delivery before 25 December (USPS) or by 24 December (FedEx), within the contiguous US unless the row says otherwise. The right-hand column is our suggestion, not a platform rule.

What to change on your links as the dates pass

  1. Before Black Friday: click every link once between Monday 23 and Thursday 26 November. How to audit 500 links in an afternoon covers the method.
  2. Never write “arrives by Christmas” from a carrier date. Use the delivery date the retailer shows for that item, and the date you saw it. The carrier date only tells you when the retailer has run out of time, not that it will make it.
  3. From 17 December: the slowest USPS and FedEx ground services are past their date. Add a short line near gift links asking readers to check the delivery date before ordering.
  4. After 19 December: USPS's last domestic date has passed. Lead with links that do not depend on shipping: gift cards, digital gifts and items with in-store pickup.
  5. Disclosure does not change with the calendar. The same plain disclosure sits next to the links on every date; see affiliate disclosure rules for creators.

Carrier notes

USPS (checked 7 October 2026). The dates in the table are for the lower 48 states; USPS lists Alaska and Hawaii separately on the same page, and military dates by ZIP code. USPS says the actual delivery date may vary with origin, destination and acceptance time.

FedEx (checked 7 October 2026). The dates come from FedEx's 2026 last-day-to-ship PDF, read from the Wayback Machine copy taken on 5 October 2026 because the file did not load for us directly. FedEx Ground and Home Delivery dates depend on the transit time between the two ZIP codes, 1 to 5 business days within the contiguous US, and FedEx says its dates are subject to change.

UPS. We could not confirm UPS's 2026 last days to ship on 7 October 2026: UPS's own holiday pages did not load for us. The ecommerce publication Value Added Resource (updated 24 September 2026) and the shipping site ship.com (updated 30 September 2026) both report that UPS has published its 2026 holiday operating schedule but not its last days to ship by service. Both say that schedule offers delivery for all services on Thursday 24 December, with Air-only pickup that day, and no regular service on Christmas Day. We will add UPS's dates to this page once UPS publishes them.
